Allen Sherman is a writer, photographer and disability rights advocate living in Vermont. He co-wrote the play, Brighter Than the Sun, which was performed throughout the state. After receiving his Master’s from Dartmouth College, Allen taught Comparative Religion and Holocaust/Genocide studies at Community College of Vermont. He and his partner, Marion Nelson, are creating an oral history of the intellectual and creative community in St. Lucia WI. Their work has received praise from The Oral History Society in England.
